With a background in Gender and Women鈥檚 Studies, Fernanda Arana Dupont is an MA student in the Gender, Sexuality, and Women鈥檚 Studies program at the 黑料爆料. Her academic and research interests center on how institutions; particularly through education systems and public policy, fail marginalized communities and, in doing so, reinforce structures of inequality and oppression.

Her work has focused on institutional abandonment and the ways policies often fail to protect the most vulnerable populations, including Black and Hispanic communities in university admissions processes, students of marginalized identities within academic settings, and survivors of gender-based sexual violence in postsecondary institutions. Grounded in intersectional frameworks, her research seeks to critically examine systemic inequities while advancing survivor-centered and transformative approaches to social justice. Fernanda is committed to producing research and applied work that fosters meaningful change within communities and challenges institutional practices that perpetuate marginalization.
