Seven USF College of Design, Art & Performance Art & Art History artists were selected for Nuestro Vaiv茅n, an exhibition at The Ringling (now through March 22, 2026). This experience proudly showcases 22 artists who represent both the Americas and Florida, exploring various themes: expressions of beauty across visual traditions, health interpreted through stories of resilience, and cultural identity revealed in personal and collective narratives. Nuestro Vaiv茅n brings together diverse artistic perspectives while reinforcing USF鈥檚 continued presence in influential regional exhibitions and established arts institutions.
Representing the college are Tatiana Mesa Paj谩n (MFA 鈥�22, visiting faculty member, printmaking), Emily Mart铆nez (MFA 鈥�25, adjunct instructor, painting and drawing), Adri谩n G贸mez (MFA 鈥�25), and alumni Libbi Ponce (BFA 鈥�20), Carola Miles (MFA 鈥�19), Selina Rom谩n (MFA 鈥�13), and Gabriel Ramos (BFA 鈥�11) from the School of Art & Art History. Their selection underscores the college鈥檚 role in shaping Florida鈥檚 contemporary art scene and reflects the lasting impact of its faculty and alumni across an engaged arts community.
