Maggie Wilson
Maggie Wilson is a scholar and educator whose research focuses on the professional learning needs of middle and high school mentor teachers. Her work centers on strengthening mentor education and clinical experiences to better support teacher candidates and improve secondary instruction.
Wilson鈥檚 areas of expertise include mentor education, secondary education, secondary clinical education and secondary English education. Her research and practice emphasize effective, equity-minded approaches to mentoring that support both new teachers and the students they serve.
She is an active member of the National Association of Supervisors of University Practica (NASUP) and the American Educational Research Association (AERA). Through her service with NASUP, Wilson co-develops and facilitates professional learning opportunities for mentor teachers, contributing to teaching and service initiatives that advance high-quality clinical preparation in secondary education.
