Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship

For more than 20 years, the Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship (MLEF) Program has provided students with fellowship opportunities to gain hands-on research experience with the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy. The MLEF program was created in 1995 with the goal of improving opportunities for underrepresented students in STEM fields; however, all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.

Butz Sustainability Scholarship

PCGS is proud to announce the continuation of the Butz $2500 scholarship opportunity for 4 incoming graduate students.

[NEW] - The Patel Distinguished Scholar Award

Incoming PCGS students are eligible for the new Patel Distinguished Scholar Award—$3,000 for two top candidates starting in Fall 2025. Selected students will exemplify excellence in academics, leadership, and sustainability. To be eligible, students must commit to enroll by July 1.
